Ugh

So today has been the day from hell. First Charles almost didn’t wake up in time to get to school, then the kids got up right after he did, Rachel has been a bear all day and Troy has just been egging her on. I am so ready for Charles to get home. However its only 1:30 and he won’t be home until 4. Rachel lately has been taking a one hour nap from 2 to 3 pm so I am hoping — no praying — that she will take that nap today without a ton of problems. I’m also thinking of putting Troy down but I doubt he’ll nap. He’ll just make a bunch of noise & keep her up.

Just because I didn’t know what to title the post. lol. We took the kids to Sea World yesterday. They loved it. I sat down meaning to scrapbook my pictures from yesterday but I got side tracked.

I posted this on my facebook and it couldn’t be any truer

is thankful for my parents who showed me how to live, my husband who made me fearless (well in some area’s), my children for showing me how to love with my entire heart & not be afraid of getting hurt and my extended family & close friends who showed me that there are decent people in this world. I ♥ u all

I have learned the hard way that there are cruel mean and just plain awful people in this world. But every time I meet one I am just that much more thankful to my friends & family. I feel that much more blessed to know them.

Rachel’s Tutu

So I went to Wal-Mart at 7pm last night. Got home at 7:20-ish & started to work on Rachel’s tutu. I hit a few bumps starting off but I finished it at 11pm! It took me close to three hours to make the tutu! Wow! I figured it would take maybe an hour. Over all its not bad for my first attempt no matter how much fun Charles made of me while I was making it. And boy did he have some fun at my tutu’s expense last night!

Lets get crafty

I like to think of myself as crafty. However besides scrapbooking I’m not that crafty. Well I was thinking that Rachel would look so cute in a red, white & blue tutu on July 4th. However its anywhere from $10 to who knows to buy a tutu for a little girl. So I looked up some directions online and found really easy ones. lol. As long as I can talk Charles into letting me buy the stuff then I’m going to attempt to make her a tutu. Wish me luck? lol. I can’t see a yard of tulle being more then $1 or $2 per yard.

Well it is now. I thought I had lost my ID! But Charles just found it. Whew. Comcast came out yesterday and our modem is still not working! It keeps going out and then coming back on. So annoying! But we have a $20 credit on our account and they will be back here tomorrow between 2pm and 5pm to fix it for good this time.

Saw Letters To Juliet last night with Lynsie and my mom. Such a great movie! I was a bit iffy on it at first because the previews did not look that great. But I was really surprised because the movie its self was really good. Really really good. There were parts through where I was like “get on with it” but other parts of the movie totally made up for those parts.

Now for some super great news. Our movie theater is playing Twilight & New Moon before a midnight showing of Eclipse on June 30th! I can’t wait to pre-buy my tickets! Yeah tickets. Because I will so be seeing all three movies!

I’ve been waiting all weekend for today. My dad is taking me some where totally awesome for lunch since Charles is in Tampa at the VA clinic. Is it noon yet? lol. Both the kids are currently napping so they will be rays of sun shine when we have to go. I am a little nervous about installing the Complete Air rear facing in my dads van. But I’m confident I can get it in their rock solid. I’ll most likely take a picture of Rachel in there too. Troy is very upset that Rachel is borrowing his car seat today. But we can’t put the MyRide behind the drivers seat because my dads seat would have to be too far up for him to drive. So that’s a no go.
